For someone who haven't played wow before I'd recommend ChromieCraft if you want a super progressive server (500-900 players during peaks and currently on Vanilla ...Silvermoon, sylvanas, Ravencrest, agent dawn (rp) from memory. That's ArgentDawn. Shows population per side for all servers. Silvermoon, Ravencrest (though it's way smaller than Silvermoon) and potentially Argent Dawn if RP interests you. The remaining English realms are either small or Horde-dominated. Emerald Dream is your best bet for balanced and active. It's been tilting more to horde pretty strongly since BFA and warmode after being nearly perfectly 50/50 during WoD and much of Legion but it's still far better then the other rp servers. On EU the only "real" RP server left is Argent Dawn, the rest are either dead or are RP realms only in name. You can play on Khaz'goroth, that has a fair few horde on it. But the vast vast majority of oceanic players are Alliance on Frostmourne and connected realms. 1.Realm choice considerations in 2022? Also keep in mind server location your ping will be better on a server located in the east if u live on east coast area 52 and illidan are better east zone areas and tichondrius is west coast server but u can still play on them regardless but will suffer usually 30 higher ping I live in east and play on a west coast server and ping is at 90ms ...Emerald Dream is your best bet for balanced and active. It's been tilting more to horde pretty strongly since BFA and warmode after being nearly perfectly 50/50 during WoD and much of Legion but it's still far better then the other rp servers. It IS however a former Rp-PvP server which means it's roleplay community is not quite what others will be.Moonguard is like only 70% alliance as well. Sadly yes, but it's still a larger pop server. The biggest pop is of course warmane. The best server on the earth. Day and night they biggest server with the best scripting has 11k people online. Come and play together with other players. You can get a full tier 3 set for less than a million if you’re lucky, or a little over. On other realms you cant. You probably can, if buying transmog is your thing, and if you can get a million on a low-pop realm.It looks like Dalaran-WoW is going to be launching a fresh WoTLK server and that the original realm, Algalon, will be used as an archive server.
