Dalaran-Wow has been my default server for the past 6-7 years, and it is great too, just low pop now. The main reason I have enjoyed both is both are well-scripted servers, and have healthy economies. The first thing I do to "test" a private server is scan the AH.WRA Horde may have more population but that is where the generalizations ends. Realms still matter for guilds, the economy, and mythic raiding.
